Molex Releases 90 Degree Boot Fibre Optic Patch Cords

Molex are pleased to announce the release of the patented 90º fibre optic patch cords. Designed to reduce stress on fibre whilst maintaining proper bend radii, these patch cords are ideal for use in high density or confined locations such as racks or cabinets.

Molex’s specifically controlled end-face geometry provides optimal physical contact by incorporating pre-polished and pre-radiused ferrules into the patch cord’s connectors. These features help to ensure that radius, apex offset and concentricity are tuned for greater mating reliability and for optical insertion loss & return loss performance.

Available in SC, LC and ST connector variants as well as hybrid connector constructions and in Singlemode and Multimode cable types.
