Environmental standards

Many of our worldwide manufacturing sites are certified to the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 14001 environmental management system standard, which requires that a broad range of environmental processes and policies be in place to minimise environmental impact, maintain compliance with environmental regulations and communicate effectively with interested stakeholders. Our ISO 14001 environmental auditing programme includes not only compliance components, but also modules on business risk, environmental excellence and management systems. We have internal processes that focus on minimising and properly managing hazardous materials used in our facilities and products. We monitor regulatory and resource trends and set short and long-term performance targets for key resources and emissions.

Industry Standards

Molex Premise Networks is actively involved in the key industry standards relating specifically to the Premise Networking Industry. We are participants in the TIA/EIA, and ISO standards relating to Structured Cabling Standards. This in conjunction with our involvement in the connector development standards committees position us well for the development of products to meet both current and upcoming networking protocols.
